This solution is a three script set that uses a FileMaker Pro database named“Photography” as an additional database source for Kudo® Image Browser™. You can add as many fields as you need to the FileMaker Database then update Kudo with references to those records. You can then find those records quickly and seamlessly from Kudo.
Before using these scripts, you must first place them into Kudo's Scripts folder.
• The "Update FileMaker DB" script adds thumbnails from a Kudo catalog to the “Photography” database. Kudo's keyword fields are updated with the name the FileMaker Pro database and the FileMaker record number. Later, you can search for these records in FileMaker Pro by using the "Find In FileMaker" script.
• The "Find In FileMaker" script searches the selected thumbnail's keyword field for the name of the current FileMaker Pro database. If found, the corresponding FileMaker Pro record is selected and displayed in FileMaker Pro.
• The "Find In Kudo" script is called by FileMaker Pro from its Scripts menu. The script finds a thumbnail in Kudo that matches the current record in FileMaker Pro. You can also call this script from FileMaker Pro by clicking on the picture field in a FileMaker record.
